A task force commanded by the leader of the Dark Council Darth Marr, a crucial figure during the Revanite crisis, managed to discover the whereabouts of the Emperor in Wild Space. After the Sith Emperor Vitiate regained his strength by consuming the planet Ziost, destroying all life upon it, the Republic and Imperial armies regrouped to work together once again.
